Horse/ Pony: Jac (Open M&M)

 

Jac did extremely well considering there was quite a few mares around and he had only been gelded 3 weeks ago!  
Jac made an immediate impression on the judges, he was working well within the group, his coat was gleaming and he was stunning. He was doing better than expected at this point as the majority of the class were mares and lot more experienced.
Jac was pulled in first and we all got excited at this point. Each competitor then proceeded to show a walk, trot and canter in their individual shows. Jac’s walk and trot were good but when it came to canter Jac’s mind was on other things than showing off his impressive big canter. The result - Jac placed second and was put through to the Championship so we were ecstatic and proud of him - first ever show under saddle!!
Jac seemed to go a bit better in the Championship but was a little distracted and so unfortunately wasnt placed but the judge gave us some extremely encouraging comments. We are very proud off him and he shows great promise for the future.
